BSc. (Hons) (Human Nutrition and Dietetics), H Dip DBSIT, M.I.N.D.I.
Born in Dublin, Aveen has practised extensively in hospitals across Ireland and the UK before founding the Dublin Nutrition Centre in 2003. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a BSc (Hons) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and later completed a business diploma at Smurfit Business School. She is also a current member of the Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute (INDI).
Aveen is an Eating Disorder dietitian and is trained in the low FODMAP diet. She has completed training in ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) diagnosis and management, Advanced Dietetics in Eating Disorders, and Level 2 Behaviour Change. In addition, she is a qualified feeding therapist in the SOS Approach to Feeding.
Her career began at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin, followed by clinical work with the NHS in the UK. On returning home, she rejoined St. James’s Hospital as a Senior Clinical Nutritionist, building on her expertise across a wide range of medical fields.

Beyond clinical work, Aveen has a strong interest in health promotion and nutrition education. She regularly speaks at corporate health and wellbeing events and provides consultancy for food companies. She is also a familiar face in Irish media, contributing to print, TV, and radio. Her television work includes RTE’s What Are You Eating?, How Long Will You Live?, and serving as a judge on Healthy Appetite.

BSc Human Nutrition and Dietetics, MSc Sport and Exercise Nutrition
Born in Co. Antrim, Kathryn qualified as a dietitian from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2015. Since then, she has worked across the UK and Ireland in both hospital and community settings, supporting people with a wide range of conditions, including bowel surgery, gut disorders, oncology, stroke, respiratory conditions, heart health, and weight management.
Kathryn is trained in the low FODMAP diet for IBS, has completed Advanced Dietetics in Eating Disorders, and holds Level 1 Behaviour Change training. She enjoys delivering group workshops on health and nutrition, and has collaborated with food companies and media outlets to provide expert advice.
With a strong special interest in hormonal health and fertility, Kathryn is a fertility-certified dietitian, working with both men and women who seek to optimise their fertility. She regularly supports clients with conditions such as PCOS, hypothalamic amenorrhea, menopause, eating disorders, gut health concerns, weight management, and RED-S.
Her career has also taken her internationally, including work in Dubai as a sports nutritionist, where she helped individuals improve body composition and supported athletes such as endurance cyclists and swimmers. Kathryn is a qualified ISAK Level 1 Anthropometrist and UK Anti-Doping Advisor, ensuring safe supplement use in sport.

BSc Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Diploma in Sports and Exercise Nutrition
Born in Cork, Julie earned her BSc in Dietetics from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, in 2019. She began her career with the NHS Lothian Weight Management Service, where she saw first-hand the importance of building a healthier relationship with food. This experience ignited her passion for supporting individuals with disordered eating and eating disorders, leading her to volunteer with Bodywhys and later specialise as an eating disorder dietitian.
Alongside her clinical work, Julie completed a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Nutrition with Ulster University. Her studies focused not only on sports nutrition, but also on the challenges of underfuelling, disordered eating, and eating disorders within sport.
Julie is dedicated to promoting a positive and sustainable approach to nutrition. She works with both adolescents and adults, with particular expertise in Eating Disorders, Weight Management, Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S).

Born in Dublin, Jen qualified as a dietitian in 2017 from DIT and Trinity College Dublin. Since then, she has worked as a paediatric dietitian and feeding therapist in hospitals across Australia and Ireland.
Her experience has given her a strong foundation in optimising nutrition and supporting children to enjoy food in a positive, stress-free way. Jen has extensive expertise in helping children with feeding difficulties, fussy eating, and allergies, and she is passionate about providing evidence-based, family-centred interventions.
Jen has completed the INDI Paediatric Dietetics course, as well as ARFID: A Responsive Feeding Approach, and specialist training in Coeliac Disease and Allergy.
While she enjoys all aspects of children’s nutrition, Jen has a particular interest in supporting children with Fussy or Selective Eating (including ARFID), Growth concerns, Allergies, Infant Feeding, Reflux, Constipation, Iron Deficiency Anaemia, Coeliac Disease, Eating Disorders, and Weight Management.

BBorn in Dublin, Rachel completed an MSc in Food, Nutrition and Health at University College Dublin in 2019, followed by an MSc in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at UCD in 2022. She has since gained experience in both community and hospital settings, most recently working at the National Centre for Obesity in Loughlinstown, Dublin.
Rachel is passionate about empowering clients to make informed, sustainable changes to their health and wellbeing. While she enjoys all aspects of dietetics, her particular areas of interest include Disordered Eating, Heart Health, Type 2 Diabetes, and Weight Management.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys cooking and spending time in the outdoors.

BSc. (Hons) (Human Nutrition and Dietetics)
Born in Dublin, Ali qualified as a dietitian in 2017 from DIT and Trinity College Dublin. Since then, she has worked across a variety of areas in Irish hospitals, including nutritional support, oncology, weight management, diabetes, and cardiac rehabilitation.
Ali has developed extensive experience supporting individuals with PCOS and sub-fertility and contributed to the development of the National Clinical Guidelines for Nutrition in Pregnancy. She has also completed training in Behaviour Change, the low FODMAP diet, fertility, PCOS, ARFID, and Advanced Dietetics in Eating Disorders.
Alongside her clinical work, Ali has significant experience delivering group education sessions and enjoys providing corporate talks on nutrition and wellness.
While Ali enjoys all aspects of dietetics, her particular areas of interest include Eating Disorders, Fertility, Hormonal Health, Menopause, Weight Management, Heart Health, Diabetes, and Gut Health.

BSc Exercise and Health Science, MSc Human Nutrition, MSc Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, M.I.N.D.I.
Born in Wexford, Rachel completed a BSc (Hons) in Exercise and Health Science at Waterford Institute of Technology in 2011, where she discovered her passion for nutrition. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Ulster in 2012, and a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from UCD in 2020.
Rachel is trained in the low FODMAP diet and has completed ARFID: Introduction to Diagnosis and Management, as well as Advanced Dietetics in Eating Disorders. Since 2015, she has worked in the food industry, specialising in infant nutrition, which has allowed her to develop expertise in paediatric and maternal nutrition. She also completed the INDI Paediatric Dietetics course in 2015.
Her special areas of interest include Paediatric Nutrition, Family Nutrition, Weight Management, Gut Health, and Eating Disorders. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys Gaelic football and staying active through a variety of sports.
She offers clinics on Fridays at the Dublin Nutrition Centre.
