BSc Human Nutrition and Dietetics, MSc Sport and Exercise Nutrition
Born in Co. Antrim, Kathryn qualified as a dietitian from Glasgow Caledonian University with First Class Honours. She has worked as a dietitian in both the UK and Ireland covering a range of clinical areas such as bowel surgery, gut disorders, oncology, stroke, respiratory conditions, heart health and weight management. She has also completed Level 1 Behaviour Change. Kathryn is trained in low FODMAP diet.
Kathryn also has a keen interest in sports nutrition and completed a Masters in Sport and Exercise Nutrition at Ulster University. She has worked with a range of athletes including endurance cyclists, swimmers, rowers and GAA and Special Olympic teams. Kathryn previously worked in Dubai as a sports nutritionist helping individuals improve their body composition, health and performance. She is a qualified Level 1 ISAK Anthropometrist and UK Anti-Doping Advisor for safe supplement use.
Kathryn enjoys delivering group health and wellbeing workshops and has worked alongside food companies and the media advising on nutrition. Kathryn has a special interest in hormonal health, PCOS, sports nutrition, gut health and eating disorders.
