Use the brighter evenings to your advantage and try to increase your activity levels. We all know that being overweight can increase the risk of health problems but what that should be is being overweight and inactive. Keeping active will help strengthen bone mass, muscle mass, improve your self esteem, reduce your risk of heart disease and certain cancers and of course help you keep your weight at a healthy level.
Try to incorporate at least 30 minutes activity into your daily routine with a view to completing at least 240 minutes exercise per week. You could try keeping a not each day of how much you do and add it up at the end of the week. Remember exericse isn’t just about buring off calories it plays a major role in keeping our body healthy!
